Addiction & Recovery Treatment Options

New Creations Services provides structured, evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment for individuals seeking recovery support.

Outpatient Care

Choosing the Right Level of Care

Not all recovery needs are the same. Following a comprehensive clinical assessment, our team determines the appropriate level of outpatient addiction treatment based on medical necessity, participant history, and individual goals.

We currently offer two structured levels of care under our Addiction & Recovery Treatment services. Both programs are Medicaid-participating and delivered by licensed clinicians.

Level 2.1:
Intensive Outpatient

Designed for individuals who require structured support while maintaining responsibilities at home or work.

Level 2.5:
Partial Hospitalization

A higher level of structured outpatient care for individuals requiring increased clinical engagement.
Level 2.1

Level 2.1: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Level 2.1 provides structured clinical care for individuals who require consistent therapeutic engagement while maintaining responsibilities at home, work, or school.

Participants attend approximately 9–19 hours per week, typically across multiple days, depending on clinical recommendations.

Program Features:

  • Group-based therapeutic sessions
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Ongoing clinical assessment and review
  • Evidence-based curriculum
  • Medicaid-participating program

Level 2.1 is appropriate for individuals who require more support than traditional outpatient counseling but do not meet criteria for inpatient or residential treatment.

Level 2.5

Level 2.5: Partial Hospitalization (Outpatient)

Level 2.5 offers a more intensive outpatient structure for individuals requiring increased clinical engagement, monitoring, and accountability.

Participants typically attend approximately 20 hours per week, delivered across structured daily programming.

Program Features:

  • More frequent therapeutic sessions
  • Structured, scheduled treatment days
  • Individualized treatment planning
  • Ongoing clinical monitoring
  • Evidence-based recovery programming
  • Medicaid-participating program

Level 2.5 is often recommended following hospital discharge, relapse risk concerns, or when a higher level of outpatient structure is clinically indicated.

Medicaid-Participating Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Both Level 2.1 and Level 2.5 programs participate with Virginia Medicaid-managed care plans. Eligibility is verified prior to admission. For coverage details, please visit our Insurance page or contact our office directly.
